Victoria Colmenero, MD, IBCLC
Dr. Victoria Colmenero is a board-certified family medicine physician with a deep commitment to pediatric care. With extensive experience caring for patients from newborns to adolescents, she focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment tailored to the needs of young patients and their families.
Dr. Colmenero has a particular passion for fourth trimester care, including lactation and breastfeeding medicine, and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her expertise extends to preventative medicine, adolescent health, and chronic care management, ensuring comprehensive support for children and their families at every stage of growth.
Dr. Colmenero’s journey in medicine began in her hometown of El Paso, where she attended medical school after meeting her husband, Evan, during a master’s program in Fort Worth. Since 2019, Dr. Colmenero has embraced full-spectrum family medicine, including delivering over 300 babies, which reflects her dedication to the health and well-being of families.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Colmenero enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two young sons. They love exploring the DFW area, playing soccer, swimming, trying new restaurants, and cheering on Houston sports teams. Dr. Colmenero also has a passion for baking and cooking, often experimenting with new recipes during her free time.
Dr. Mariam Nasir
Dr. Mariam Nasir grew up in Fairfax, Virginia right outside of Washington D.C., where she completed her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at George Mason University. She obtained her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and relocated to Texas to complete her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Health/UT Southwestern. After falling in love with Dallas and its surrounding communities, her family moved to Texas.
It was her love of working with children and watching them grow over time that propelled Dr. Nasir in choosing a career in general pediatrics. She enjoys building long-term relationships with families and helping them make choices that promote healthy, happy lives. She takes care of all ages from newborn to 21 but has a particular interest in adolescent medicine, including mental health and menstrual irregularities.
Dr. Nasir and her husband have one son. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, cooking, exercising, and traveling.
