Both bring a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to patient care that aligns perfectly with our mission to provide comprehensive, compassionate healthcare to the community.
Meet Dr. Ryan Jones – Internal Medicine Specialist at Frisco Legacy
Hailing from Richardson, Texas, Dr. Ryan Jones is no stranger to the Lone Star State. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where he completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees, Dr. Jones went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. His approach to medicine is a harmonious blend of modern practices and holistic care, emphasizing the importance of building long-term, trusting relationships with his patients.
Dr. Jones’ philosophy is rooted in the belief that healthcare is not just about treating symptoms, but about fostering overall well-being. He is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles that enhance quality of life and is excited to bring this commitment to the Frisco community. Outside the office, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife, Allison, and their three young children. A true Texan at heart, he’s an enthusiastic baseball fan and loves outdoor activities like fishing and golfing. His strong Christian faith also plays a central role in his life, and he is an active participant in his church community.

Introducing Dr. Victoria Colmenero – Family Medicine Expert at Frisco Waterstone
Dr. Victoria Colmenero is a board-certified family medicine physician who brings a wealth of experience in providing care for patients of all ages. Dr. Colmenero is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. She has a particular interest in fourth trimester care, including lactation and breastfeeding medicine, and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her medical interests also include preventative medicine, adolescent health, women’s health, and chronic care management.
Dr. Colmenero’s journey in medicine began in her hometown of El Paso, where she attended medical school after meeting her husband, Evan, during a master’s program in Fort Worth. The couple completed their residency together in Waco and then began practicing in West Texas. Since 2019, Dr. Colmenero has practiced full-spectrum family medicine, including the delivery of over 300 babies—a testament to her dedication and skill.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Colmenero enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young sons. As a family, they love exploring the DFW area, playing soccer, swimming, trying new restaurants, and cheering on Houston sports teams. Dr. Colmenero also has a passion for baking and cooking, often experimenting with new recipes in her free time.
